Museum Banner Mockup

This is another one of my class projects from Tulsa Tech. We were told to research different museum exhibits that interested us, and create a design to be spread across three banners. I chose a temporary exhibit on animation, as it is one of my favorite subjects. The name of the exhibit was the Whitaker Center Animation Academy. Kids could go to learn about the history of animation, including the process, characters new and old, and more. I decided to take a nostalgic route with this one, as the logo already made for the exhibit reminded me of my childhood. My parents would often take my brothers and I to Six Flags over the summer. Back then it was completely covered in looney tunes characters. There were flags in the parking lot covered in bright polka-dots with different characters on them, and that really stuck in my mind as a child. I wanted to replicate that effect with these banners. Since this was a hands on exhibit for kids I wanted the end product to be full of fun, bright colors. I had a lot of fun with this project and it came out beautifully.
